You have enough on your plate when you are planning an event, so why not try and make things easier. Fortunately for all of us, technology geeks around the world have designed a host of tools that are now at our disposal to help plan and run events smoother than ever before.

The tools don’t just help you run your event smoother, they give your event a modern, professional feel that has become the expectation. There are tons of options out there, and these are just a few that we find particularly helpful.

1)    Easy Books – Easy Books is a free app that handles all of your accounting needs. It’s even available for your smart phone so you can have the tools you need at your fingertips wherever you are.

2)    Guest List Planner – It may cost around $15, but Guest List Planner lets you import all your contacts for an event and arrange them into easily sortable categories so you can filter and organize guests and groups to your heart’s content.

3)    Electronic Evaluation Forms – There are a number of ways to implement electronic evaluation into your events, including setting up a survey site where attendees can login to participate in real time. In any event, encouraging audience participation leads to greater attendee satisfaction, and it can take a lot of the grunt work out of evaluation and gathering solid feedback after your event.
